釈迦（ゴータマ・シッダールタ）は仏教の開祖で
初めて悟りに達して「仏陀」となった人物です。
釈迦がお生まれになったとき
「天上天下唯我独尊」（てんじょうてんが ゆいがどくそん）と言いました。
この意味は
「この世で我々がなし得るたった一つの尊い目的」です。
