十二干支八体守護本尊
”平和の祈り”連作シリーズをスタートしました。
ある日を境に
様変わりする世界を
目の当たりにしました。
この世界の平和とは何か？
この世界の安寧とは何か？
御縁をいただき
メッセージとアートとして
表現してみました。
守護本尊とは
仏教の世界で
あまねくこの世のすべてを
お守りくださる仏様のことです。
十二干支には
それぞれ
八体の守護本尊がおります。
今年は巳年です。
辰巳年の
守護本尊は
普賢菩薩です。
「普く賢い者」の意味であり
世界にあまねく現れ
仏の慈悲と理智を顕して人々を
救う賢者である事を意味します。

I witnessed a world that changed dramatically one day.
What is peace in this world?
How can we make the world peaceful?
I tried to express this as a message and art.
The eight Buddhas are Buddhas
who protect everything in this world in the Buddhist world.
Each of the twelve zodiac signs is associated with eight Buddhas.
This year is the year of the snake.
The year of the Dragon and Snake
is the year of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva.
It means “a universally wise person”
Appearing all over the world
It means that he is a wise man
who saves people by manifesting the compassion and wisdom of Buddha.

普賢菩薩と真言を表現したとき
軽やかな音楽が地から天へと舞い上がるような感覚がありました。
仏様の手のひらに私たちの住む宇宙があり
慈悲のまなざしを私たち人類へ向けている
ヴィジョンが視えました。
私たちはけして一人ぼっちではありません。
孤独でなく
いつでもみなが繋がっていて
宇宙を通じて仏様と繋がっているのだと感じました。
★Message
When I expressed Samantabhadra and mantras as art,
I felt as if light music was rising from the earth to the sky.
I saw visions.
The universe we live in is in the palm of the Buddha’s hand,
and he is looking at us, humanity, with compassion.
We are never alone.
We are not lonely, and we are all always connected,
and I felt that we are connected to the Buddha through the universe.
